One Week Is Enough To Lose Weight
To fight with excess weight is one of the oldest "women's sport". Especially this kind of sport is popular after holidays. And here we are now. Holidays passed and summer is coming closer.
If you will see that your summer wardrobe sit tight on you don't hurry to change it on bigger size clothes. The situation is quite corrigible. I in my opinion, that this webmaster described this nicely on the muay thai training martial arts web post.I would like to offer you the diet that helps you to get rid of 5kg (11lb) of excess weight during a week. The motivation is strong - size of your clothes must be not bigger than previous summer! Is not it nice to strike your friends and acquaintances that after all holidays and winter season you did not add any excess weight?! And this decision is the first step to succeed in weight loss. It will demand to make some efforts from you of course but they are worthy to do. Pointer of your scales will move to desired figures and after a week needed result will be achieved.
This undoubtedly will cheer you up and you'll want to strengthen achieved results and may be to go further.
Diet will help your stomach to get accustomed to smaller amount of food you need every day. It will decrease the whole quantity of consumed calories. Therefore after this diet it is easy to maintain balanced feeding.
Yes, to lose of 5-7kg (11-15lb) excess weight one week is quite enough. The diet is very simple. Your food during these days is fruits and vegetables. But you must not overeat them also, 1.5kg (3lb) of them a day is enough.
What you can eat for a day?
-apples
-boiled vegetables
-mashed vegetables
-oranges and mandarins
-kiwi
-fruit all sorts (not dressed)
-fruit puree (without sugar)
The main rule is not to eat more than 1.5kg (3lb) of foodstuff a day. What can you drink? It is tea (green is preferable), coffee (without sugar) and mineral water.
To make better your appearance choose fruits that suit to your skin. For dry skin it is ripe red fruits, for fat skin better have green sour-sweet fruits. For normal skin suit both.
But it is not enough to eat little! Have a strong shower every morning to push the process better. After such a shower your blood will go freely through vessels. Shower makes you cheerful and draws you away from foodstuff. Thus your breakfast will be smaller than usual. May be cup of coffee will be enough. But don't forget to add some not fat milk to it not to harm your stomach. That is proved method I use myself.
Hot bath with few drops of aromatic oil draws your thoughts away from appetizing foodstuff in the evening. It can be rosemary, eucalyptus, lemon, fir or other stuff that you like. You will switch to perception of fragrance that draws you away from food.Don't lay in the bath without any movement. If your bath has hydro massage it is perfect. If not than try to do it yourself. Even simple massage can do miracle.
May be after 3-4 days you will be tired of fresh vegetables and fruits. Than begin to cook them! Don't be afraid to experiment. You may cook your day meal at once and divide it to portions. Remember the rule - not more than 1.5kg (3lb) of food a day. Vary assortment of vegetables. It may be:
-cauliflowers
-broccoli
-carrot
-haricot
-sweet pepper
It can be everything you like, all that suits you best.
There is another way to limit your portion of meal - decrease the salt in your meal or don't salt it completely. The taste of meal will be a bit strange. You will eat not much in this case. But that is all you need!
Recipes of meal from vegetables and fruits I will show you in the next article.
7 days after this diet you will be pleasantly surprised. Compare your weight with those you had before. You will be glad to have such results. And if you want to strengthen achieved results you must know how to choose foodstuff for balanced feeding properly and how to cook them. Next article will be dedicated to this subject also.
Be healthy,
Nataly

The Martial Arts - Where Did They Come From?
Although today martial arts is something that is considered by many people to be sport, marital arts began with the war like nature of humans and the need to defend yourself.
In modern Western Civilization, we have become, for the most part, accustomed to war being a serious but far away event. I found that this blog explained this nicely on this gym page.Although personal violence comes into our life from time to time, it is mostly on the television news. It has not always been this way. People have been forced to defend themselves, their homes, and their families from deadly personal attack since the time we all lived in caves and dressed in animal furs. The history of martial arts begins there. It begins when the man had to be able to fight to defend himself or lose his life to a stronger and better fighter.
The story of martial arts begins with the development of a warrior tradition in human development. Methods of self defense were developed using weapons when they were available and bare hands and feet when they were not. Once these skills were learned, they were passed on from generation to generation. The clans that learned them well and perfected them the fastest were the ones that survived.
Many of these early forms of martial arts were transformed as weapons began to improve. Wooden clubs were replaced with swords, and slings were replaced with crossbows. The techniques of martial arts became the techniques of warfare. One of the earliest events in the development of martial arts as a spiritual practice was the writings of a man named Bodhidarma who lived around 550 A.D. He was credited with associating the unarmed martial arts of the time with the meditative practices of Zen Buddhism. He is also said to have influenced the Shaolin priests of China. The Shaolins were later introduced to popular culture through the television show, Kung Fu.
Over the years, many of the Asian martial arts disciplines were formalized through a system of teacher and learner. The teacher was the experienced Master who passed on the knowledge of the arts to his students. Some of the forms became highly stylized with tests being administered to pass to a higher rank, but others remained rooted in the teacher/student method. Experience was the important thing and training.
In recent times, martial arts have entered popular culture via the medium of movies and television. Many events such as "full contact karate" events and "mixed martial arts" (MMA) competitions have replaced boxing as popular television and arena events. Although some martial arts purists have decried the competitions as straying away from the meditative and self discipline aspects of the traditions, they continue to attract much interest and have helped spread knowledge of martial arts to a wider audience.

The Mystery of Muay Thai Boxing
Muay Thai Boxing is a much favored sport in the whole of Thailand, and a well loved entertainment in most parts of the world. I believe that this person described this nicely on this muay thai fighting page. It is in fact more popular than any other sport in Thailand. Muay Thai Boxing is a very rigorous art that requires a lot more energy, concentration, and intelligence as compared to western style boxing. This much revered sport is embedded in the history of Thailand, and dates back over hundreds of years.
Though the people of Thai are peaceful people, they are the experts at this albeit brutal but beautiful sport, because the art has been an indispensable part of their ancient history. More so, it is the most advantageous and major form of defense for them considering the nature of their borders, which is basically rough and uneven, making it almost impossible to employ the use of long range weapons in warding off invaders to their land. This particular hand to hand style of fighting usually favors them against the invaders.
One may ask then, that how did the people of Thai come by this unique art of boxing? As far back as the 1500, the famous warrior king, who also doubled as the greatest legend in boxing in Thailand, Naresuan the Great took the initiative to make the art a mandatory aspect of the training of his military army, though little is known of where he got knowledge of the art. However, the most cited incidence that finally broke the ice occurred about some 250 years after this initial introduction, when the much acclaimed warrior, Nai Khanom was kidnapped by the Burmese during a raid on the capital of Siam. He won his freedom only after winning a challenge where he defeated ten of the best fighters of the Burmese at a go using the Muay Thai boxing technique. Since then, Muay Thai boxing has been a favorite of the people of Thai.
Today, very little has changed about the enthusiasm for Muay Thai Boxing, though there have been a few changes concerning the rules of the art. This is evident in the amazingly high number of boxing camps in Thailand that has been set up to officially train individuals in the art. These Muay Thai camps, spread all over Thailand offer a unique opportunity to all people to become masters in the art, as opposed to formerly when only local Thai young men were trained. Instructors in these Muay Thai camps in Thailand are required to be conversant with the English language, in an attempt to create an enabling environment for foreign students, including women. Characteristically, most Muay Thai camps in Thailand include in their training course an in-depth study of the cultural and historical background of the art, as well as the required fitness training. Aside these, a lot of moral discipline and self confidence are instilled in the trainees. This makes the training not only physical, but very total in nature.

Uncover the Truth Behind Meal Replacement Shakes
Being overweight poses a lot of risk on the health of the person making him vulnerable to diseases like diabetes and heart related disorders. Because of this, a lot of dieting fads have emerged and quick weight loss or easy weight loss became the rage today. People who want to lose weight wanted to do it fast and easy. I personally think that this web page described this nicely on this learn muay thai article. This is probably due to the all too perfect dieting techniques of the movie stars who at one instance, was fat and flab and suddenly emerging fit and slim after they went on a diet or fitness training. Such examples are a perfect lure to ordinary people and thus desiring to step into a slimmer figure not looking deeper on whether they are seriously committing to a new lifestyle or just wanting a new figure quick and fast. Because of this, they are the perfect prey to the quick fix diet.
These are 3 basic questions facing a person who wants to lose weight wanting to use meal replacement shakes. Do I get good nutrition while cutting my calorie intake after all, it is only a shake? How will my energy be boosted and nutritional needs met while going low on calories by just drinking these shakes? Will these shakes help control my hunger and stress while going on a diet?
These are the truth behind meal replacement shakes:
* It is a full meal. One tumbler of these shakes is equivalent to a chicken breast, one medium potato and a salad all rolled into one.
* It is perfect nutritionally. In one shake you actually have the 15%-20% nutrition, low calories of 200-300, vitamins, minerals and fiber you need and even boost your daily energy and protein without having to worry about metabolism.
* Take it on the go. You will never have to skip meals again with meal replacement shakes. When you need to go and run, all you have to do is bring your powder and shaker with you and prepare your shake. You already get the required daily nutrients and actually feel full.
* Introduce a couple of times a day. You can choose two meals in a day to drink your meal replacement shakes and still eat one full meal, two protein rich snacks in between meals and not break your diet.
* Create good healthy eating habits. Meal replacement shakes don't encourage crashing or cravings as it is actually not depriving you of food but instead replacing your food intake with a more nutritionally packed, protein enhanced shake plus all the vitamins, minerals and fiber you need.
* Cost less than buying a whole full meal. One tumbler of meal replacement shake is only equivalent to $3 as against the full meal that will cost more and does not necessarily meet your daily nutrients need.
That's the truth about meal replacement shakes. Put this to test right away and prove for yourself but make sure you are in it for the long haul and not for the quick fix. Good luck!

Buying Travel Insurance? Then Read This Article
Travel insurance is not normally top of the priority list when planning holidays but it should be. Tour companies know that, and that's why they normally insist travellers have insurance. Travel insurance typically covers cancellation and curtailment, personal liability, personal possessions, injury & illness and emergency assistance.
The most significant insured risk is the medical one. If you have a serious medical emergency whilst abroad, valid travel insurance could literally be the difference between life & death, and will cover the assistance costs - an air ambulance back to the UK from the East Coast of the USA could set you back ??50,000 otherwise. Without travel insurance and faced with an emergency, your only option would be to contact the nearest UK consulate or embassy who will no doubt help as best they can, but will not pay for assistance. I found that this web page described this incredibly on this Jerilyn Poitevint weblog.
Like most things in life you tend to get what you pay for with travel insurance, and the low cost options sometimes have limitations. Apart from the specifics of the cover, the variables that determine the price are the number of days and geography covered, the number of people on the policy and their age.
Some basics to consider when buying a policy....
Travel insurance is sold as an annual policy or single trip. If you are going abroad more than once a year then an annual policy may work out cheaper. If you insure a single trip, take the policy out as soon as you have committed to the cost so that you have cancellation cover immediately.
Typically three options are offered for geographic cover: Europe, Worldwide excluding USA & Canada, and Worldwide including USA & Canada, the latter, with widest coverage, being the most expensive. Remember though, the further away from home you are, the more expensive emergency costs are likely to be, so the more important it is to have travel insurance.
Individual, couples and family policies are normally offered as standard. Couples and family policies will normally be cheaper on a per head basis. Family policies typically cover two adults and their children, but they do not normally provide cover for minors travelling on their own.
The cost of travel insurance increases with age. Standard travel insurance policies would typically have an age cap of between 70 & 80, but it would be unusual for the older traveller not to be able to get insurance if they shop around. There are a number of insurers who offer travel insurance for the older travellers at a price that reflects the increased risk. That said, travel insurance for the older traveller with significant pre-existing medical conditions can get very expensive.
Always consider the policy exclusions. Cover for skiing is normally an extra. Standard annual policies typically provide a limited number of days cover in a year - if you need more, there are specialist policies that provide this. Undeclared pre-existing medical conditions are not normally covered, neither are alcohol or drug related medical costs.
And when you travel.....
Take a copy of your policy certificate with you and the travel insurer telephone numbers. The insurer may have three different numbers for customer services, claims and 24 hour assistance. If your travelling in Europe take your EHIC card.
In the event of a medical emergency, contact the 24 hour assistance number who will advise on a course of action. If you act unilaterally and without insurer authorisation, the assistance costs incurred may not be insured. In cases of theft, always report it to the local police and get a crime reference number or equivalent and call the insurer claims number as soon as possible. As a general rule, inform the insurer as soon as possible in the event of any potential claim to confirm cover and give the insurer the opportunity to mitigate the costs of the claim.
